The Foundation

The Foundation was established by the Library Council of New South Wales in 1989 and is the principal fundraising body for the State Library of NSW.

Since 1989 the Foundation has supported acquisitions, conservation, education programs, exhibitions, events, and the digitisation of the Library's collections.
