Disclosure Log
The State Library of NSW is yet to receive any formal access applications under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act). As formal access applications are received that are likely to be of interest to members of the public, the State Library of NSW will publish the following details in the disclosure log:
- the date the access application was decided
- a description of the information released
- whether any of the information is available to other members of the public, and if so available, how it can be accessed.
The disclosure log does not have to include the following information:
- information on applications for personal information regarding the applicant
- information about applications where factors involving the applicant were a consideration in whether or not the disclosure of the information was in the public interest.
Under s.56 of the GIPA Act an access applicant can under certain grounds object to all or specified information concerning the application being included in the disclosure log.
