In May 1611, the first edition of the King James Bible was published. The exact date is not confirmed but is generally believed to be 2nd May 1611.

The State Library of New South Wales has a copy of the first edition

The Holy Bible : conteyning the Old Testament, and the New / newly translated out of the originall tongues: & with the former translations diligently compared and reuised, by His Maiesties speciall commandement. Appointed to be read in churches.
