This week, Richard III, the last Plantagenet king of England, will be finally laid to rest in Leicester Cathedral, 530 years after his death in battle on Bosworth Field in 1485.

King Richard’s remains were discovered in a car park in Leicester in 2012.

The State Library of New South Wales holds Rare Books relating to King Richard III, including this work by Horace Walpole from 1768.
