The Dutch certainly knew how to put together a spectacular atlas.

This stunning sea pilot’s atlas was produced at a time when the Netherlands were world-leaders in maritime exploration and navigation. The van Keulen family publishing house was one of the foremost producers of maritime cartography in a city famous for its beautiful map productions.
