Blog post from Saturday, 25 April, 2015

Today 25th April is Anzac Day and we commemorate 100 years since the landing at Gallipoli in 1915.

If you are out taking photographs on ANZAC Day you can help the Library add to its collection by sharing your images on Flickr, Instagram or Twitter using ‪#‎documentANZAC‬ - your photographs could become part of the State Library of New South Wales’ collections. We are also seeking ephemera (flyers, programs, posters, brochures etc)

You can also visit the Library on ANZAC Day and view the Library’s extensive First World War collections during our ANZAC Day buffet.

Drop in to the State Library of New South Wales (between 1-4 pm)and view items from our extensive First World War collections including accounts of the landing at Anzac Cove on 25 April 1915. Library curators will be available for informal chats and will demonstrate the Library’s new transcription tool.
