Holey dollar and dump from 1813.

In 1813, Governor Lachlan Macquarie proclaimed the establishment of the holey dollar and dump as the first distinct coins for the colony. This coins were originally Spanish currency. The middle of each coin was punched out to create the dump, and the coins were stamped with the name of the colony.
