`First interview with the Native Women at Port Jackson New South Wales’, from the journal of William Bradley.

William Bradley was one member of the party taken by Captain Phillip to survey Sydney Harbour. He was present for the first contact between the British colonists and the Aboriginal people of the Eora nation.

Bradley included in his journal this watercolour painting of a meeting between the Europeans and several Aboriginal women at Port Jackson (Sydney). Some children are also depicted on the other side of the beach.
