REFUGEE men living in Scotland have made a powerful new film calling for an end to domestic abuse of women.
The online video, entitled A Strong Man, will be shared around the globe and involved 67 men from 11 countries.
The refugees have fled war and violence in countries including Eritrea, Ethiopia, Sudan and Syria and are calling on men of all cultures and faiths to unite against domestic violence.
The film was developed through the Maryhill Integration Network in Glasgow, following a series of workshops based on themes from White Ribbon, a men’s group who campaign against the abuse of women.
