Hand coloured pocket globe attributed to George Adams, Senior (1709-1772). Depicts the world with the complete coastlines of Australia and New Zealand. Also includes the tracks of James Cook from his first voyage of discovery to the South Seas. Tracks are incorrectly marked 1760 instead of 1770. Shark skin (shagreen) case lined with celestial map showing constellations of the zodiac.
