Descent is the journal of the Society of Australian Genealogists, the oldest society in Australia, established in 1932.

Published quarterly, the latest June issue is full of interesting articles and regular features such as Notes and News, Book Reviews, Archival Anecdotes (news from State Records NSW), and Can you Identify this Photograph?

Articles in the June issue include: Using DNA in Your Family History Research; Using the Charles Booth Online Archive (London ancestors); Report of SAG tour to Cockatoo Island; as well as selected articles by members on their respective family histories.
