Saving your social

Since 2012, the Library has been working with the Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) to collect social media that documents the life of New South Wales.

Using the CSIRO developed social media monitoring tool Vizie, the Library has collected a range of publically available social media, from sources such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, documenting New South Wales life in the areas of government, politics, business, media, sport and the arts.
