The wheels on the bus…
go round and round all the way to the State Library.
In the last financial year 753 students from 21 schools have had the opportunity to participate in learning programs due to the generosity of State Library staff and a philanthropic gift through the Foundation. We think that’s pretty cool.
The staff giving program at the Library supports bringing students from Western Sydney into Macquarie St to visit the Library and for many children this is their first visit to the city and certainly their first to the State Library. Learning Services staff love to share the delights of this amazing building and collections with students as young as five right through to those enduring the rigours of HSC study. We’re very pleased to be able to offer this program once again in the new financial year so if you are teaching in a school in Western Sydney and would like to bring your student into the Library please contact Learning Services to find out more.
