These drawings by Joe Frost focus on the ways bodies react to the spaces they inhabit. Created during Frost’s ‘Drawing the Library’ residency, each records a moment in the Library’s reading rooms; they show readers interacting with books, screens and each other. ‘Reading is work of the mind,’ says Frost, ‘in drawing a person reading a book I can discern a great deal about what they are reading, or what reading is making of them.’
