Alan Frost: Mutiny, Mayhem, Mythology

Join the State Library of NSW and Sydney University Press at the launch of Mutiny, Mayhem, Mythology: Bounty’s Enigmatic Voyage by Alan Frost. The book will be launched by Richard Neville, Mitchell Librarian and Director, Education & Scholarship at the State Library of NSW.

As the myriad histories, novels and films attest, the Bounty story holds an enduring fascination. However, for more than 200 years it has been marred by factual errors, misinterpretations and misplaced partisanship. By meticulous analysis of a wide range of sources, Alan Frost establishes the true causes of the mutiny and considers the story’s lasting attraction.

6pm arrival for a 6:30pm start. Copies of the book will be available for sale on the night.
