The cartography of Coronelli - then and now

Vincenzo Coronelli was a Franciscan friar, cosmographer, cartographer, publisher, and encyclopedist known in particular for his atlases and globes. He was also founder of the "Academia Cosmografica degli Argonauti", the first geographical society in the world.

Maggie Patton will give a brief presentation on Coronelli and publications held by the State Library. The evening will include a surprise digital presentation developed by the Libraries DXLab.
