Poetry Slam Masterclass with Miles Merrill & the Preacherman

Two of Australia’s most talented spoken word artists, Miles Merrill and Philip Norton (aka Preacherman), will unearth your inner poet during a two-hour workshop focusing on the art of writing and performing slam poetry.

Spoken Word: A performing art

1.45 pm – 2.45 pm, Dixson Room, Mitchell Wing

Top Australian performers pull the letters out of poetry and explore the heart and soul of creating words for the stage. Featuring Sydney’s favourite poet, Tug Dumbly, international performance artist Wednesday Kennedy Australian Poetry Slam 07 winner Marc Testart. Chaired by Regina Botros.

Linda Jaivin is an international bestseller (Eat Me) with a penchant for neo punk poets!
