The State Library of New South Wales and the Consulate General of Ireland are delighted to present an evening of Irish poetry, literature and song. Distinguished Irish actor Maeliosa Stafford and acclaimed Irish musician Freddie White will guide the audience on a literary and musical journey through the story of the Irish in Australia celebrating the long affinity between Ireland and Australia and the links between our people.
 
The event will launch a two week introductory programme aimed at Irish Australians who wish to learn more about their Irish ancestry and family history. The programme is presented by the State Reference Library Family History Service and proudly supported by the Consulate General of Ireland in Sydney.
