Sydney’s Garden Palace is now lost to living memory, however, in its day its grandeur dominated the skyline and captivated Sydney society. The State Library of NSW holds items which tell the unique story of the Garden Palace. During September these items will be on display in the Amaze Gallery to coincide Jonothan Jones’ unique work, barrangal dyara (skin and bones).
Join Sarah Morley for a curator-led talk through the Garden Palace display in the Amaze Gallery. Using the rich collections of the State Library of NSW Sarah will tell the fascinating story of this magnificent building.
