Award-winning Dutch photographer, Chris de Bode appears exclusively at the Library as part of our World Press Photo program of events. Chris’ photographic assignments have taken him around the world working for many NGOs including Save the Children, MSF, Greenpeace, Oxfam and as well as UNHCR and WHO.
In this fascinating illustrated talk, Chris shares his passion for connecting audiences with his subjects and their world without victimisation or exploitation. Through his images, Chris aims to evoke empathy for others regardless of where we come from.
