Why Be Good?

1929, 81 mins, with Vitaphone soundtrack

Pert Kelly (Colleen Moore), a salesgirl, falls in love with the wealthy heir (Neil Hamilton) to the store where she works. The boss however, doubts her intentions, so he orchestrates a test of her virtue. Why be good when it's so much more thrilling to be bad?
