About the fellowship

The aim of the fellowship was to enable an enrichment of publicly accessible material directly related to current environment and conservation in Australia issues with more extensive access to the Library’s holdings for use by research clients and others throughout the world. The fellowship was be awarded on a merit based selection process.

This Fellowship is currently not being offered by the State Library of New South Wales.

Emeritus Professor Derek Anderson, AM, for compilation of an annotated bibliography on the Library’s significant holdings on the subjects of environment and conservation; also research on the changing nature of conservation philosophy and practice in New South Wales from an Indigenous perspective through colonial times to the present day. D. J. Anderson’s completed work is held at the Library.
