Library's contribution to Corroboree Sydney Festival 2014

The SLNSW contribution to Corroboree 2014 included the work of the Aboriginal artist Jonathan Jones. Inspired by Esme Timbery’s famous shellwork Sydney Harbour Bridge sculptures, the Macquarie street foyer became home to an oversized shell adorned Harbour Bridge created by Jonathan Jones for Corroboree 2014. Visitors wrote their stories about Sydney onto shell shaped cards and then affix them to the Bridge, creating a diverse collection of Sydney stories.
