Celebrate Book Week  and discover the creative process involved in illustrating a children's picture book. Phil Lesnie's recent work includes Once a Shepherd, written by Glenda Millard and A Soldier, A Dog and A Boy, written by Libby Hathorn.

In this 90 minute workshop students will:

  •  engage with an illustrator and professional artist
  • unpack his creative practice from the digital to the physical
  • view his original artwork
  • create their own original artwork under Phil's expert guidance

Bus Subsidy

The State Library of NSW offers to provide K-12 school students from DET schools in Western and South Western Sydney, access to FREE bus travel to visit the State Library of NSW to participate in our onsite learning programs.
