We are pleased to announce that the full version of our new integrated catalogue is now available for you to try.
The new easy-to-use catalogue enables powerful searching across the Library’s vast collections and digital resources.
When you visit our new catalogue you’ll find a new single search function, as well as upgrades to the Manuscripts, Oral History and Pictures catalogue and Published Materials catalogue (books, magazines, maps and videos).
As we transition to our new system some images may take longer to appear in the system. We will do a final review of our migration to ensure there are no gaps in the collection before the old systems are withdrawn. Retaining access to these mean you can finalise any in-progress research while you explore the features of our new catalogue. It will also allow the Library to ensure there no gaps in the collection before the old systems are withdrawn.

Our new state-of-the-art library system replaces multiple legacy systems. This is a crucial step forward for the Library so that we can continue to grow, manage and preserve our collections, and offer a world-class discovery experience to all.
In the coming weeks we will continue to refine our systems, and releasing new features and upgrades.
We look forward to hearing your feedback as we work to create new and better ways for you to discover more at the State Library.
