The new edition covers topics such as broken fences, fallen trees, invasive tree roots, barking dogs, late night parties and piles of rubbish – some of the small day-to-day annoyances that can lead to ongoing neighbourhood disputes. It provides information so that everyone can understand their rights and responsibilities as a neighbour, and has been revised and updated for recent changes to the law.

The State Library is providing Neighbours and the law free of charge to public libraries.  It is also available in full text on the Find Legal Answers website.

New promotional bookmarks were also sent out with the book. You can order more bookmarks, or any other Find Legal Answers promotional material, by filling in the online order form.

The old edition of Neighbours and the law is now out of date and needs to be withdrawn from all of your Tool Kit collections - check out the latest list of Tool Kit titles to ensure your collection is up to date.
