FAR Out!: Treasures to the Bush

Caledonia Foundation

With the support of the Caledonia Foundation, the State Library of NSW will be travelling to towns in Western NSW in 2012 to display and talk about some of its most evocative original items relating to early Australian history. This exciting program will be launched at school and public library events in Bourke and Cobar in March 2012.

FAR out! seeks to address the issue of inequality of access to the State Library’s treasures for students, teachers and interested people in the far west of NSW. Additionally, the program will introduce a wealth of information and resources accessible online from the State Library.
