Michael Lascarides is the Senior Manager for Web Initiatives for the New York Public Library.  He oversees the developers and designers responsible for creating many of the Library's many web-based projects.   We are able to have Michael at the State Library following his participation in the National Digital Forum in New Zealand.

John Allsopp, one of the founders of Web Directions, will be sharing ideas from library hack, inspiring us with how data from our libraries can be reused in creative ways.

Tim Sherratt, will be updating us on what is new in his work around digital data since he spoke at the reference seminar in 2010.  There is a lot that is new in how Tim's work draws out achival content, linking data and idea.

Tea and coffee will be served in the Dixson Room from 9.30am, and the talks will start at 10.00am.

For more information about the day please contact Ellen Forsyth.
