"Returned Sailors and Soldiers Imperial League : Australia : 1919".--on a coat of arms illustrated in the poster entitled, "Lest we forget". Both calendars entitled, "Its our flag", include a poem by W.B. Ripon and an extract from the poem, "The Vigil" by Henry Newbolt. On the reverse side of the postcard entitled "Australian advancing from Villers-Bretonneux", is a handwritten inscription: "Greetings from Major & Mrs T Henley & Family". The inscription was presumably written by Sir Thomas Henley, M.L.A. "For sealing letters and affixing to letter paper and face of envelopes".--At the head of the adhesive paper seals, entitled "Save Australia" prohibition seals" On inside fold (page [2]) of the postcard entitled, "Australian advancing from Villers-Bretonneux", is an illustration of the "Capture of Hamel Village, July 4th, 1918 by Australians assited by a detachment of Americans", the illustration is from the original painting specially executed for the Australian Comforts Fund by A.Pearse, war artist. The postage stamps entitled "War Chest 1917" may have been released to coincide with War Chest Day 1917. The folded rule, entitled "Red Cross sock measure" was presumably prepared as a fundraiser and to coincide with the War Chest Sock Appeals of 1917 and 1918.
