The State Library of NSW has announced a new $30,000 digital fellowship, the first of its kind to be offered by an Australian cultural organisation.

The DX Lab Fellowship will provide a digital innovator with the opportunity to work alongside the State Library’s pioneering DX Lab to develop a creative digital experience using the Library’s rich collections.

“This Fellowship will bring together data from the State Library’s collection, passionate researchers and the latest technologies to create something new and revolutionary,” said Dr Alex Byrne, State Librarian and Chief Executive.
