George Ernest Morrison - Selected microforms for sale, 1850-1932
GEORGE ERNEST MORRISON (1862-1920), doctor of medicine, adventurous traveller and journalist, became resident correspondent of The Times (London), at Peking, in 1897, and political adviser to the President of China (Yuan Shih-k'ai), 1912-1920. The manuscript collection of G. E. Morrison papers, 1850-1932, held in the Mitchell Library, is substantial comprising 232 volumes, 87 boxes, 1 folder and 3 portfolios. The following is a list of the selected Morrison manuscript and pictorial items that have been copied onto preservation microfilm as at Jan. 2007, a total of 104 reels.
