The State Library of NSW is excited to announce that the inaugural $30,000 DX Lab Fellowship - the first of its kind to be offered by an Australian cultural organisation - has been awarded to Elisa Lee and Adam Hinshaw.
"There was a stellar field of applicants for the inaugural DX Lab Fellowship demonstrating the innovation and diversity of the digital humanities field in Australia. This underscores the importance of this fellowship and the opportunity it provides," said Fellowship judge Seb Chan, Chief Experience Officer, ACMI.
The winning proposal is called: Search and Discover: A real-time visualisation of content accessed from the State Library of NSW collection. It will see the development of an elegant and playful visualisation of requests for library collection items, both onsite and online. The project aims to show how the State Library’s collection is being used in real-time.
