New photography gallery

The Library plans to establish a large, permanent gallery to display works from its extensive photographic collection. This follows the success of two permanent galleries established in the past three years: Paintings from the Collection and the Collectors’ Gallery.  

From artistic photography to photojournalism, the new gallery will dynamically display 180 years of photographic evolution in Australia.
