This is the story of two men who meet up after chatting on the hook-up app Grindr. Warren is a white, closeted man in his 50s visiting from regional NSW, and Edden is a black, urban young gay man, easy in his sexuality. This simple premise is ultimately the basis of a complex and compelling story that travels through the trauma of gay history, particularly as experienced in and around the iconic inner-Sydney park where the two men meet.

The play is both intimate and epic, poignant and powerful. By the end, strikingly difficult questions are posed about how people negotiate their lives and loves. We learn that history never really ends and that the ghosts of the past are ever present. The play is an achievement of the first order.
