Ask a Curator day

Every year our curators answer hundreds of inquiries about the collections and our activities — How many incunabula do we hold in the collection... and What is an incunabulum? Why doesn't Queen Elizabeth II wear sunglasses?

State Library of NSW curators

On Ask a Curator day it's your chance to ask a question. It's a day where museums and galleries from all over the world get together on Twitter for a live Q&A, and this year it's taking place on Wednesday 12 September 2018. Just use the hashtag #AskACurator.

If we don't know the answer right away we'll certainly do the research to help you find out!

If you don't have time for a question today you might like to follow our Facebook group - SLNSW History Lounge. Here the history-loving curators from the State Library share fascinating and little-known snippets from the Library’s amazing collections, and we encourage you to join in with the stories you care about. Everyone is welcome.
