Indigenous Services team members, Nathan and Carissa, recently visited the Hereby Make Protest exhibition at Carriageworks in Redfern.

The exhibition celebrates and commends Australian Aboriginal political activists and Indigenous activist organisations. It combines new works by Indigenous artists along with historical documentation and images from the State Library of NSW’s collection, resulting in a powerful and captivating exhibition.

Items found in the exhibition can be found here and here. Once the exhibition is over these items will be available for viewing in the Mitchell Library by State Library members who hold a Special Collections card.

The Hereby Make Protest exhibition free and is running until 18th July, 2014 at Carriageworks in Redfern.
