Myles Dunphy (1891-1985) was one of Australia’s greatest environmentalists and also an accomplished cartographer. His trail maps for bushland areas, in particular the Blue Mountains west of Sydney, became part of the essential equipment of the serious bushwalker from the 1920s on.
