Timelapse of Panorama of Calcutta from the Octerlony Monument on the Meydan, 1832 / drawn by Jacob Janssen being digitised by a state-of-the-art high resolution scanner.

This panorama was scanned at the State Library of NSW over a period of two hours, using cutting edge scanning technology. The resulting image will be an incredibly accurate, high resolution file.

The technology was developed through ground breaking research conducted at Kyoto University’s Advanced Imaging Lab.
