Log of logs: a catalogue of logs, journals, shipboard diaries, letters, and all forms of voyage narratives … for Australia and New Zealand, and surrounding oceans / by Ian Nicholson

Log of logs is a catalogue of logbooks and voyage narratives and a great tool for documenting the arrival of your immigrant ancestors.

The three volume set of reference books is an alphabetical list of ships arriving in Australia and New Zealand with their voyage dates. Surviving logbooks and voyage narratives are listed for each voyage including masters logs, surgeons journals and emigrant diaries.

Speak to a librarian at the Family History desk for assistance in using Log of logs to find a voyage narrative relating to your ancestor’s voyage to Australia.
