Celebrating Indigenous language in a new Library space

The evolution of the Library’s Reading Room continues, with the creation of an Indigenous themed study room.

The Library has installed a visual celebration of Indigenous language as part of our commitment to create a more welcoming space for the Aboriginal community.

A graphic using the Gurayn (Flowers) artwork by Lucy Simpson, a Sydney based Yuwaalaraay woman (northwest NSW), was installed last week on LG1 of the Reading Room.

We're currently working with the community to name the room - watch this space!
