The historic Mitchell Library Reading Room will come alive on Saturday 19 November with a giant chess set available for visitors to play. Chess players of all levels are invited to come and have a game in celebration of International Games Day.
The giant chess set is one of many activities hosted by the Library including Minecraft, table top role-playing games and board games. You can also come along to hear a curator talk about the Library’s fascinating collection of board games and puzzles.

The giant chess set will be available to play during Library opening hours from Saturday 19 November until Friday 25 November 2016.
