On the 12th of May, the State Library's Indigenous Services team welcomed both Shannon Sutton and Bronwyn Ryan from the National Library of Australia, into the Library to share experiences on identifying Indigenous language materials within cultural heritage collections.
Shannon and Bronwyn met with staff around the Library who are currently involved in the many facets of delivering the Rediscovering Indigenous Languages project, from cataloguing to building the soon to be launched community website.
The visit was a wonderful way for connections to be made between staff working in the Library sector. Thanks for visiting Shannon and Bronwyn!
