Help us identify Indigenous Australian contributions to service in the Library’s collection
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the contributions that Indigenous Australian people make to our country and our society. The NAIDOC theme for 2014 is – Serving country: centenary and beyond – to honour the contributions made by Indigenous servicemen and women.
The Library receives many enquiries regarding our collection and whether it holds materials that relate to Indigenous servicemen and women.
Unfortunately, there are only a small number of items, including photographs that have been identified and documented in our Library catalogue.
Are you aware of material in our collection relating to Indigenous servicemen and women – if so, we would like to hear from you.
Do you know about any material in the Library collection that relates to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people contributing to service?
If so, please let us know by contacting us at email: email@example.com or calling the Indigenous Services team on (02) 9273 1577
