Public holiday: the Library will be open on 3 October. View opening hours
The State Library of New South Wales has just purchased a new floor globe. The globe, a 32-inch Diplomat, was made to order by Replogle Globes in Chicago. It contains the most recent cartography available, and so is an accurate depiction of the countries of the world in 2012.
The globe's permanent home is in the State Reference Library (Macquarie Street Wing). Located near the Information Desk on Lower Ground 1, you can view the globe any time the State Reference Library is open.
