Entry from Ronald Gunn’s long‐lost catalogue of Tasmanian plants, showing various species in the Tetratheca genus.1874-1896

First collected in 1846, Ronald Gunn’s specimen no. 1944 was a species of Tetratheca previously unknown to science, and was subsequently named in his honour. A shrub found only in Tasmania, Tetratheca gunnii is known locally as ‘shy Susan’.
