William Thomas Clark, NSW servicemen portrait1918

This is a portrait of William Thomas Clark who lived in Thirroul.

In 1918, when this portrait was taken, he was about 20 years old and enlisted to fight in the First World War.

On the back of the photograph it is noted that he was a miner by trade and that his mother lived on Pass Road.

Little else is known about William’s army career.
