Join us for an exclusive evening with Geoff Barker, Curator, Research and Discovery.

From the mid to late nineteenth-century travelling shows and circus performers came to Australia in surprising numbers. The library possesses 11 albums of rare photographs of actors, acrobats, banquistes and clowns, many of who ‘trod the boards’ here in Australia. Join Geoff for a first-hand look at the photographs and a discussion about some of the more colourful characters from the albums. Includes refreshments. Booking essential.
