With Dr Michael Bennett

Join Dr Michael Bennett as he explores the fascinating history of NSW Aboriginal trackers and their work across the varied and contrasting landscapes of NSW

Dr Michael Bennett has spent over 20 years researching the Aboriginal history of NSW.  Growing up in Dubbo in the 1980s, his passion for tracker history was spurred by hearing stories about the phenomenal Alec Riley.  His book, Pathfinders — A History of Aboriginal Trackers in NSW, was published by NewSouth in 2020.
