This is a virtual excursion for Stage 4 and 5 students.

In this virtual excursion, you will visit the exquisite Shakespeare Room on a virtual tour and engage closely with Shakespeare’s first folio – the only copy held in Australia! You will also learn about the Globe Theatre and see a very special model held at the Library. This interactive experience will inspire your students to learn more about the great playwright, William Shakespeare!

Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.

Learning from home

Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.

During the session, students will be able to ask questions by writing in the chat and they will not share any audio or video. All messages will be visible to the presenters but not to any other students.

When students use the link to join the virtual excursion they may be asked to download Zoom if they don’t already have it installed. They do not need to set up a Zoom account to participate.

Further instructions for joining a Zoom webinar are available in Zoom’s Webinar FAQ.
