This excursion has been developed to support students with additional learning and support needs and can be adapted to meet the specific needs of your students.

Enjoy an educator led tour of the exhibition Imagine...the Wonder of Picture Books and then explore a variety of multi-sensory materials about a river’s journey and create your own story.

In this 60 minute flexible, inclusive learning program students will:

  • tour the exhibition
  • interact with sensory materials
  • collaboratively compose written responses to create a story
  • have fun!

Cost

Free of charge, minimum of 10 students and a maximum of 15 per group. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. 

Availability

Monday to Friday, during term time

Duration

60 minutes

Minimum supervision ratio

Kindergarten – Year 2 - 1 adult per 5 students
Year 3 – Year 6 - 1 adult per 10 students
Secondary students - 1 adult per 20 students
